Schossow is on a mission to reinvent dance music. With some futuristic techno, filthy house and a subtle smattering of trance, his sounds are catching the attention of DJs and dance music fans around the world.
This 'Most Popular Nordic DJ of 2008' from Megamin’s Annual poll, ranked #79 in DJ Mag 2009, is in demand around the world.
He's already clocked up some huge international gigs such as: Dance Valley, Godskitchen, Sunrise Festival, Escape Into the Park, Zurich’s Street Parade and the Colours Festival. He has shared the decks with A list DJs, including Pete Tong, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Angelo and Sander van Doorn. 'Tone Diary', his own weekly radio show, is establishing the Schossow Sound on the AH.FM internet radio station. Working with his fellow producer Thomas Sagstad, he manage to poke Tiesto, Axwell and Steve Lawler into snapping up the tracks like 'Hypnotizer' and 'Crepusculo'.
And it’s not just his ability as a producer that screams ‘watch this guy’. He's only 22 years old, but Marcus Schossow is already a very promising musician, only just starting to make waves in the dance music scene. Watch him electrify the Barcode dance floor this month with his new track 'Light', a collaboration with Reeves featuring Emma Hewitt.
